Two Already Arrested from Penn State
After a call from the media for Joe Paterno practically begging him to take his hat, his coat and leave, athletic director Tim Curley and Gary Schultz, a university vice president in charge of university police oversight will be arraigned in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Each were charged with one count of Perjury and one count of Failure to Report a Crime. They were both allegedly told by an eye-witness that Jerry Sandusky, a defensive assistant coach at the time, had sex with a 10 year-old boy in the locker room.
Shortly after the alleged incident, both men are alleged to have approached the President of Penn State, Graham Spanier, to sign a document stating that Sandusky could no longer bring children from his charity program, The Second Mile, to school grounds. No one reported it to police.
Linda Kelly, the Attorney General, said the men lied to an investigating Grand Jury when they were questioned about their actions.
Through lawyers, both men claim their innocence. Both men are free on $75,000 bail.
The only thing that is certain is that all men and women are liars. Who is lying here, no can say, but it sure looks like someone has tried to sweep it all under the carpet.
