4) Johny Hendricks (“Big Rig”)
With a round 1 knockout of Jon Fitch, Hendricks is another one of the new guys who have beaten mainstays of the welterweight division.
5) Jon Fitch
Fitch finally got a finish, but he was the one who was finished against Johny Hendricks.
6) Nick Diaz
Proving that he is indeed a top welterweight, Diaz battered BJ Penn. Of course, Diaz was originally supposed to fight for the title at the event, but was pulled due to acting like himself. Now Nick Diaz will fight for the interim welterweight title against Carlos Condit due to GSP’s injury.
7) BJ Penn (“The Prodigy”)
The supertalented Penn continues to take some time off after losing to Nick Diaz.
8) Josh Koscheck
Koscheck made his return to competition by knocking out the legendary Matt Hughes. His next fight will be at UFC 141 against Mike Pierce.
9) Anthony Johnson (“Rumble”)
The biggest welterweight stepped up with a KO win over Charlie Brenneman. However, it looks like he’ll be making a permanent move to middleweight.
10) Charlie Brenneman (“The Spaniard”)
Brenneman is expected to face Daniel Roberts at UFC on FX 1.
Lightweight (155 pound limit)
1) Frankie Edgar (“The Answer”)
Edgar now has a 1-1-1 record against Gray Maynard, with his win coming via a stoppage. Next up is Ben Henderson at the UFC’s Japan event.
2) Gray Maynard (“The Bully”)
Maynard’s series with Edgar now stands at 1-1-1. Do we need a quadrilogy?
3) Gilbert Melendez (“El Nino”)
Melendez beat Jorge Masvidal for another title defence. It appears as though he will be kept in Strikeforce for some time, which continues to call into question how he would do against the top 155ers in the UFC.
4) Michael Chandler
In a stunning upset and excellent match, Chandler pulled off a 4th round submission of Eddie Alvarez to claim the Bellator lightweight championship.
5) Eddie Alvarez
Alvarez finally lost, getting choked out at Bellator 58 by Michael Chandler.

After ending 2010 with a farcical loss, Aoki rebounded in 2011 with 4 wins.
