The PLAYERS Championship Preview & Fantasy Picks
The PLAYERS Championship has become widely known as "Golf's 5th Major". While it's certainly not the The Masters, U.S. Open, British Open, or PGA Championship, it is an opportunity for the TOUR players to showcase their abilities on one of the worlds biggest stages.

Tim Clark is the 2010 defending champion but winning back to back not be easy. In a year full of first time winners, some of the worlds top players are hungry to get their first win of the season. What better place than Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, and the famed TPC Sawgrass golf course.
The field features every winner of The PLAYERS Championship dating back to 1998 with the exception of the 2000 and 2005 champions, Hal Sutton and Fred Funk. The list includes Henrik Stenson (2009), Sergio Garcia (2008), Phil Mickelson (2007), Stephen Ames (2006), Adam Scott (2004), Davis Love III (2003 & 1992), Tiger Woods (2001), David Duval (1999) and Justin Leonard (1998).
Three Groups To Watch at The PLAYERS Championship
#3. Tim Clark, Adam Scott & Sergio Garcia: Three of the more recent winners playing in one group has our attention. Tim Clark won here last year but this is only his fourth event of the year on the PGA TOUR. His most recent showing was a missed cut at The Masters. Sergio Garcia has been a pleasant surprise in 2011. He's made the cut in all four PGA TOUR starts this season and has one top 10 and one top 25. He's won here before so familiar ground could help him come the weekend. Although Adam Scott has not won in 2011, it wouldn't be a surprised to anyone if he picked up a victory here. He finished second at The Masters a few weeks ago and is playing some of the most consistent golf of his career.Continued on the next page
