NBA Off-Season Merry-Go-Round Continues - Page 2
While it appears that Paul will continue to be a Hornet, another All-Star is making noise about a potential new home — either in Chicago or Miami.
Tracy McGrady, who worked out with the Bulls on Monday, said his first choice would be to sign with Chicago despite hinting that he would consider joining LeBron James, Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh as a bench-role player in Miami.
"This [Chicago] was a great team, a pretty good team, without adding myself and Carlos Boozer, and some of the key players that they added this offseason," McGrady, who worked out for the Los Angeles Clippers last week, told ESPN. "You bring a coach in like [Tom] Thibodeau, who's very defensive minded, very smart and knows the game, knows what to get out of his players."
Either way, it appears that McGrady is headed to a team where he'd be a role player, consider his ups and downs with injuries over the past few years. He'd prefer to start, according to ESPN, but his best shot at winning will be in a bench role.
Regardless of where McGrady and Paul end up playing this year, the merry-go-round that is the NBA off-season rages on. It's going to be quite the interesting season.
