FedEx St. Judes Classic Preview & Fantasy Picks
The majority of the golf world is focused on next weeks US Open but the PGA TOUR is in Memphis, Tennessee for the FedEx St. Judes Classic. A rather light field will try to take down the 2010 champion and number two ranked player in the world, Lee Westwood.
Lee Westwood came into the 2011 surrounded by controversy. As the top ranked golfer in the world, he didn't take his PGA TOUR card. Instead he decided to focus on the European Tour where he has earned one victory this season. Westwood will look to defend his FedEx St. Jude Classic in just his 6th PGA TOUR of the season. He has made the cut in all five previous events but is yet to crack the top 10. His best finish is as the Masters where he finished 11th.
Chasing the number two ranked player in the world will be a cast of 11 players who have won on TOUR this season including David Toms. Toms finished second at The PLAYERS and followed it up the next week with a win at the Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial. Toms has won this event twice in his career. He did it back to back in 2003 and 2004.

3. Keegan Bradley, Brendan Steele & Jhonattan Vegas: This group has more than being PGA TOUR rookies in common, all three have wins on the PGA TOUR this season. Jhonattan Vegas won the Bob Hope Classic and finished 3rd at The Farmers Insurance Open. He failed in his US Open qualifying attempt this week and I'm curious to see how he recovers. Keegan Bradley is the most recent winner having won the HP Byron Nelson Championship while Brendan Steele won the Valero Texas Open.
