A Better Facebook Platform
Getting rid of FBML for iFrames is not all peaches and cream, but this is another one of those cases where the positives outweigh the negatives. This move will very well likely turn out to benefit both the brands and consumers who use Facebook on a regular basis. FMBL was essentially a stripped down version of HTML and thus, very limited in that regard. iFrames come boasting the full capabilities of HTML and then some. Of course it’s too early to tell, but this definitely appears to be a step in the right direction for the Facebook platform.
