CTV forgets to tell us their “expert” is from a far-left wing agitprop and political advocacy group
http://www.proudtobecanadian.ca/index/weblog/comments/ctv_om...And not informing you, informs you. And they know it. (Oh and of course at above left is his page from the very far-left, Bush-hating, rabidly anti-conservative, atheist, socialist agitprop web site, the Huffington Post. Both CBC and CTV secure on-air experts with Huffington Post pages, which they never tell you about). P.S. Next story on liberalivision: The polar bear story. The Americans added the polar bear to the “threatened”

Once again stock market blasts through historic record high; CBC oblivious
http://www.proudtobecanadian.ca/index/weblog/comments/once_a...it like rats to a carcass. For example, one day when they smelled delicious yummy free-market capitalist stock market calamity, they deployed a little graphic in the top right of the state-owned CBC Newsworld screen all day long, which I dubbed their “Plunge-o-Meter” (see at left). They’ve never had a “Rise-o-Meter”. I do believe they’re pimping for a recession and a stock market fall. In other economy-related news today, General Motors, Chrysler, and the

Junk Science: McCain’s Embarrassing Climate Speech
http://www.proudtobecanadian.ca/index/writergroup/comments/j...is why the Southwest is commonly known as a “desert” — and it was a desert long before industrial emissions of greenhouse gases. As to global temperature, the world has cooled since 1998 and the latest research from U.N.-approved researchers indicates that more global cooling is on the way. With respect to extreme weather events, I can’t think of a single scientist — even an alarmist scientist — who has the temerity to stand up and link specific weather

Canadian Taxpayer Fed chills the “man-made global warming”
http://www.proudtobecanadian.ca/index/weblog/comments/canadi...of your earnings in tax so they can spend it for you and engineer things to suit their political/social/economic agendas. I liked this tidbit they have on the "man-made global warming" (even if they did shamefully neglect to mention our web site's Steve Milloy columns, and his heroic work at his JunkScience.com):

Headline shocker from Media Research Center
http://www.proudtobecanadian.ca/index/weblog/comments/headli...Wow. I wish I could say stuff like that in Canada. N.B. Our columnist Rebecca Hagelin, a Vice President of the Heritage Foundation, alludes to Heritage Foundation research in today’s column, “Climate Control: A Costly Proposal”.

Toronto Stock Market now at all-time record high; where’s the CBC “Rise-o-Meter”?
http://www.proudtobecanadian.ca/index/weblog/8647/Rise-o-Meter”? The TSX is at its all-time record high right now, but the liberals’ state-owned CBC Newsworld (channel 390 on my dial) isn’t deploying anything like what I called its ”Plunge-o-Meter”, complete with its usual dire, dour warnings, as did when the market went down a while back. I really wonder why. Could it be that the CBC hates it when capitalism is doing well, and loves it when it is not?
