The McConnell attack dogs at EITB (who I maintain write very well, despite being partisan hacks; Brett Hall, are you listening?) are warming up the hammers for the Senate campaign in the fall, and it’s not pretty: they trot out the Lunsford donation record that we’re all too familiar with (going to Bluegrass Report’s archives to do it? Do I need a better argument that this is being ghosted by McConnell staffers?) and open fire: Like it or not, McConnell’s voting record — based on his view of the proper role of the federal government — has been steadfast.
