next time in panama, take a educational tour in panama city. so you can learn about panama city. this should or could be your sked. please check with the local tour operator. saturday...............only.............partial transit of the canal it takes about 3-5 hours depending on the canal traffic. you go thru 2 sets of locks, "pedro miguel" and"miraflores". it is a short trip and very nice. i have taken this trip about 35 times aprox. make sure, you have sunscreen lotion with you when you take the trip. there are local companies that do these type of trips.
