Watch Part 1 and 2 of Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog

    http://uk.cinok.com/watch-part-1-and-2-of-dr-horrible%e2%80%...

The first two acts of Joss Whedon’s 36-minute three-part SCi-Fi internet musical Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog has hit the interwebs. Shouldn’t a sing-a-long have the words on screen with that annoying bouncing ball? But seriously, is the semantics of the title is my only complaint, then you know it’s good. Act 3 goes online on July 19th. Watch both part one and two below. “With my freeze ray, I will stop the pain.” Neil Patrick Harris stars as the title character, a low-rent supervillain who’s trying to impress the cute girl from the laundromat he’s too shy to talk to (Felicia Day of Buffy the Vampire Slayer), defeat his nemesis, superhero Captain Hammer (played by Firefly’s Nathan Fillion) and gain entry into the Evil League of Evil. Whedon penned the musical with his brothers (Zack and Jed Whedon) during the writers’ strike earlier this year. Whedon explains why he made the film: “It wouldn’t hurt if this really was an event. Good for the business, good for the community – communitIES: Hollywood, internet, artists around the world, comic-book fans, musical fans (and even the rather vocal community of people who hate both but will still dig on this). Proving we can turn Dr Horrible into a viable economic proposition as well as an awesome goof will only inspire more people to lay themselves out in the same way. It’s time for the dissemination of the artistic process. Create more for less. You are the ones that can make that happen.” I’m not a fan of traditional musicals, but I think everyone can get behind the occasional wacky and wonderful oddity that is Dr. Horrible. The official website is being overloaded at the moment, and at least from my hotel internet connection, it was almost impossible to watch. There is an alternative… The videos are also available for purchase over on iTunes for $1.99. So if you’re a big Joss fan, you might just want to do that. Trailer in guter Quali

Außerdem ist der 1-Minütige Echo-Paul-Sneak-Peak hier wieder aufgetaucht. dollverse meint dazu: "FOX have released an exclusive preview of "Echo". Also, the episode order has been increased, so there's 13 planned episodes so far, with an expansion to 22 if required for this coming season. Nur eine kurze Zeile daraus, möchte ich hier noch erwähnen, die nicht bis kaum spoilert: Whedon says that, like Buffy and Firefly, Dollhouse aspires to be both deep (how does society shape, influence, ''program'' the individual: discuss!) and fun. A typical episode will see Dushku cycle through three to four personas, making for a wild mix of moods and genres. ''The other day I shot scenes for a 1940s musical dance number and a Mexican spaghetti Western — just for the pilot episode,'' says Whedon, kicking back on a plush couch under the stairwell of Dollhouse's set. On top of this, each episode will be longer than a usual TV episode is, as FOX are airing Dollhouse without many adverts. Yes, you read that right. As a result each episode will clock in at a minimum of 50 minutes instead of the usual 42.

    die neuen us-serien.

    http://www.popkulturjunkie.de/wp/?p=3716

- “The Cleveland Show” (FOX / Start: Frühjahr 2009) - “Sit Down, Shut Up” (FOX / Start: Frühjahr 2009) - “90210″ (The CW / Start: Herbst 2008) Noch kein Trailer verfügbar - “Surviving the filthy Rich” (The CW / Start: Herbst 2008)

TV: First Look at FOX's "Dollhouse" and "Fringe"

Here's the trailer for Joss Whedon's new FOX show "Dollhouse" and a scene of what I think is the twin of one of the dolls, both played by Eliza Dushku ("Buffy the Vampire Slayer"), trying to find her sister. It kind of reminds me of a mix between "Alias" and Jessica Alba's breakout role "Dark Angel." Here's a few clips of J.J. Abram's new FOX show "Fringe," starring Joshua Jackson.

And the goodies keep rolling in; we are truly getting spoiled right now! /Film has an extensive post featuring artwork, trailers, images AND clips from both Fringe and Dollhouse. The clip features a scene between Echo (Eliza) and FBI Agent Paul Smith (Tahmoh Penikett); it looks to be their first meeting together, and definitely looks very exciting! You can view the clip (opens in a new window) and/or screencaptures in the gallery; previews are below, enjoy! EDIT: Link updated.

I know you've heard colourful rumours about what an Active is. Robots? Zombie-Slaves? They are of course quite the opposite. An Active is the truest soul among us. Olivia Williams, you fucking got me. Eben. Klicken und etwas scrollen. | von: wiesengrund | 16. Mai, 09:46

Dollhouse stuff all over the internets

    http://buffyfest.blogspot.com/2008/05/dollhouse-stuff-all-ov...

Why isn't Amy Acker in that press pic. Also, why is it so weird and photoshopped? So they are now saying it will start mid-season. If you're interested, see here:http://ap.google.com/article/ALeqM5g9iNXH8s5igbEi8GvEPUsSUZ4uwQD90MATKG1 and here:http://ap.google.com/article/ALeqM5g9iNXH8s5igbEi8GvEPUsSUZ4uwQD90MATKG1Incidentally, that JJ Abrams show also mentioned in that article sounds a lot like Lost, no?
