Yello is a Swiss electronica band consisting of Dieter Meier and Boris Blank. They are probably best known for their singles "The Race" and "Oh Yeah" (featured in the film “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off”), which feature a mix of electronic music and manipulated vocals. However, for those of us from Chicago, who listened to the Hot Mix 5 on 102.7fm W.B.M.X. on Friday and Saturday nights in the 1980’s, they are best known for the track “Bostich”, a cult classic adopted by the Chicago House Music movement of the 1980’s. This song rocked the North, South and West sides and the burbs. Enjoy!
