Jump to the full entry & travel map Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain and Canary Islands After a tumultuous trip from Philadelphia to Barcelona, we finally trekked out to find our ship SANS luggage...more on that later. Unfortunately, we had not planned well about how to get from the airport to the cruise terminal. So, after wandering around for an hour or so, we elected to catch a taxi and take it to Las Ramblas-the busiest street in Barcelona. In August, many shops and restaurants are closed, especially in the afternoon. So, we walked around and settled on having a traditional dish of paella with some spanish white wine.
