Chelsea: Mom, better prez than dad
http://firstread.msnbc.msn.com/ archive/ 2008/ 03/ 28/ 833503.aspx
From NBC/NJ's Matthew BergerALLENTOWN, Pa. -- Chelsea Clinton was asked whether her mother would be a better president than her father, and she said yes. Speaking at Lehigh Valley Hospital Friday, she laughed when a man in the front row asked her to choose between her parents. "His question is, âDo I think my mother will be a better president than my father,'" she said. "Well, again, I don't take anything for granted, but hopefully with Pennsylvania's help, she will be our next president,...(read more)

Chelsea's Evolving Answer About Monica
http://gprr.blogspot.com/2008/04/chelseas-evolving-answer-ab...Out on the campaign trail for mom, Chelsea Clinton faces questions about the gold standard, health care, Darfur--and Monica Lewinsky. Her answer is evolving. When a student at Butler University in Indianapolis first asked the question on March 25, she drew applause and gave a short response that ended with: "I do not think that is any of your business." ..."I think that is something that is personal to my family, I'm sure there are things that are personal to your family that you don't think are anyone else's business, either," she said last week when asked during a visit to North Carolina State University in Raleigh. "But also on a larger point, I don't think you should vote for or against my mother because of my father." Many in the crowd at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Ind., booed Monday when a question about the impeachment proceedings against President Clinton came up. Chelsea Clinton quickly summed up her position: "If that's what you want to vote on, that's what you should vote on. But I think there are other people (who are) going to vote on things like health care and economics," she said. What's interesting is that Chelsea finds herself distancing her father's Presidency from her mother's campaign. She has been forced by questioners to state that her mother will be a better president than dad. This has been prompted by the fact that many folks are falling out of love with Bill Clinton since he hit the campaign trail for Hillary.

Who Loves Prez Daddy More?
http://whinydad.blogspot.com/2008/04/who-loves-prez-daddy-mo...Maybe it is all part of a plan. A misguided plan, but a masterful one nonetheless. Perhaps George H.W. Bush has deliberately transformed — if you will believe the early reports of Oliver Stone's coming biofictivepic &mash from drunken embarrassment cursing his father's success to to presidential embarrassment whose "leadership" encourages the nation to pine for the days of his father? That he is smart enough and dedicated enough to his father to do what he has done is a much more acceptable explanation than (for example) to blame a democracy that elected him. It is also a lovelier consideration of the president father-child relationship than offered by another KOP (kid of POTUS), Chelsea Clinton, who in addition to opining that the world will offer a sigh of relief when Bush 43 steps down, has been dissing dad at the expense of possible prez mom. ** Anger issues focused on father? Anyone? **
