Shock and Awe and Time Machine

You can probably imagine my shock and awe when I arrived at my MacBook after the morning shower with my cup of coffee and saw this: I almost spilled my java. And then I could already hear the “Click of Death” from what used to be my “Macintosh HD”. Dead and gone. I verified the Sudden Death (S.M.A.R.T. is good for nothing, by the way) by booting from my Leopard DVD. Successfully, so the rest of the system semt to be ok. I put my MacBook in its bag and walked around two corners to visit my local Apple dealer In Time. Second shock for the day: Closed on Saturdays.
