Votes Counted Twice in North Carolina

Why is this rocket science? Counting votes should be easy, but even optical scanner vote counting machines are a problem this year. If we need to count all votes by hand to get rid of this problem, let’s do it. The election will be in early November, the president doesn’t take office until the 20th of January, and that means the vote counters have almost 3 months to get the vote count right. Why rush? We don’t need to know who the next president is overnight, or even within a week. We have months.
