Couple set up firm specialising in cycle tours of Himalayas

Ian in India on the life-changing trip VENTURE: Ian in India on the life-changing trip A COUPLE who gave up their jobs and house to cycle around the Himalayas have set up a tour company to let others share the experience. Ian and Jean Teunion, 47, from Colne near Pendle, left Britain in May 2006 to travel around India on a bike. They wanted to explore so much that they gave up their jobs and rented out their house. They said the experience left them “astounded”. The couple then came up with the idea of setting up a cycling tour company after realising that it would not only give them a chance to stay in the area, but others the opportunity to see it for themselves.
