K.O.B.U.S receive SAMA Award for Best Afrikaans Rock Album Posted on May 06, 2008 under Music News | No Comment K.O.B.U.S album SwaarMetaal won the SAMA award in the category Best Afrikaans Rock Album. Here’s hoping that this is the beginning of the acknowledgment of South African metal bands by the industry and the inclusion of a metal, or at the very least a ‘hard rock’ category.
