Zico chases Lazio job
http://biancocelesti.blogspot.com/ 2008/ 05/ zico-chases-lazio-job.html
Last week the Italian press reported that Lazio president Claudio Lotito was keen for Zico to replace Delio Rossi as coach, following a hugely disappointing season. Rossi is looking increasingly likely to be sacked as the team are languishing in 13th place in Serie A, just six points off the relegation zone. Zico has received widespread praise this year after leading Turkish-outfit Fenerbahce to the Champions League quarter-finals. The 55-year-old took over the club in 2006, following a four-year spell as boss of the Japanese national team, and he led them to the league title last year.
