Apparently, the actress has not signed any films (Telugu or Tamil) after the Tarun-starrer Bhale Dongalu. While Jalsa is still doing great business at the BO, Bhale Dongalu had a rather modest run at the BO. While sources say that the actress is on a summer break, nobody seems to have an idea where she has really taken off. Ileana has been a hot favourite in both Kollywood and Tollywood after her stunning super hits Pokiri and Devadasu. The grapevine has it that the actress is in negotiations with a Bollywood production house. Whatever the matter is, guess we will have to wait for an official word from Ileana herself ! Posted on 15 May 2008 Mumbai: After actor Aamir Khan indulged into the cheap and downmarket antics of insulting his fellow actor Shah Rukh Khan through his blog, SRK has chosen to the high ground and has acted in a much dignified manner. Speaking to reporters, King Khan said, "I think actors should concentrate on acting and not get involved in to such things. Such things don’t bother me and I take these things lightly, as they are said by friends.” Looks like Aamir Khan also known, as Mr Perfectionist is not so perfect after all. The actor’s recent blog, where he went ahead to state that he has a dog called Shahrukh has got the nation talking. The blog has been widely condemned by not only SRK but also Aamir’s fans. This is the second time that Aamir has taken a dig at Shah Rukh Khan. The first time he had called the actor No 2 to which SRK had previously also responded in a friendly manner. However, this time round the actor’s famous piece of writing is being dubbed as immature and demeaning. Bollywood’s heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor and girlfriend Deepika Padukone will be soon tying the knot. Yes you got it right; the two newcomers are all in love and will be soon be ‘man and wife’. In an interview given to a news daily, the young starlet Deepika made it official by saying: " Within the next five years I hope to be Mrs Kapoor and the leading lady of Bollywood." Talking about how it started it all, the actress stated that it was love at first sight for the couple and they struck a chord even before their first films were released. " It was love at first sight. We met through mutual friends and we fell for each other right away but we needed time for our love to grow before we made a serious commitment’. Brushing aside rumours of the couple heading for splitsville, the actress stated that such rumours really upset her, however the two have decided not to let such baseless speculation affect their affection for each other. Looks like Bollywood beauties have chalked down huge plans for the next five years as after Bebo, its now Dips who is all up for marriage after five years. But unlike Saif who has made candid confessions about his hope to marry Miss Size Zero, Ranbir has chosen to stay mum on the subject. Posted on 15 May 2008 Film industry was recently abuzz with rumours that actress Nagma, who was once the reigning queen of Tamil and Telugu films has now converted to Christianity as she was spotted at a Gospel Meeting held at Vijay Park Hotel in Madras last Sunday. The actress, who is a Muslim by birth, was a popular star in the state. A few years ago, Nagma surprised everybody when she and cricketer Sourav Ganguly participated in a pooja at Srikalahasti temple near Tirupati. Subsequently, she joined the Art of Living Foundation. Now, it is believed that she has embraced Christianity and has decided to become a preacher. Last Sunday, the actress participated in evangelist Mohan C Lazarus meeting which was specially conducted for the film industry. According to an actor who was present on the occasion, the actress was emotionally charged and spoke well for more than one hour. In fact she surprised everyone when she substantiated her speech with quotes from the Bible, added the actor. Reportedly the actress said in her speech that her stint in politics led to depression and she even went to the extent of attempting suicide. At that time, she had the chance to read Bible, which brought about a change in her. Now she wants to preach the Bible and spread peace everywhere.
