Komani Ups the Weird with Their Drum Kit

Konami, throwing its hat into the ring in the music band competition, has come up with the weirdest configuration of a drum kit for Rock Revolution. As shown in MTV Multiplayer Blog, it’s a conglomeration of differently shaped drum heads - three shaped like cymbals. One big advantage - it allows freestyling, so there’s no penalty for doing your own thing during a song, so long as you hit the right drums at the right time. The guitar appears as a standard Guiter Hero III axe, and the rock show is in the forefront of the action, not the background as it is in the other two games.
