Cory Doctorow is alerting his fans that his new book is being shelved in the Young Adult section of bookstores so they should head there if they are looking to buy it. That news had John Scalzi write about how the YA section is terra incognita for most adult readers yet it shouldn't be. He points out that YA science fiction outsells adult SF titles 2-1 and those books are among the top sellers of all YA fiction whereas adult SF barely registers on the bestseller lists. He also notes that a lot of the stuff is of such good quality that adult readers would surely love it.
