    Do you memorize scripture?

    It seems you don't hear much anymore about memorizing scripture. Hal at The Great Separation asked this question a couple of weeks ago, and I've been thinking about it since. Here are a few questions about Bible memory that I'd be interested in your answers to: Do you think memorizing scripture is something we should do? Should it be a specific goal or should it just be something that happens as we meditate on passages that are specifically meaningful to us? Is a word-for-word memorization of scripture necessary? When was the last time and the last passage/verse that you memorized? What Bible version do you use when you memorize?
