Percussion ensembles perform March 30 at Appalachian BOONE— Percussion ensembles from Appalachian State University’s Hayes School of Music will perform March 30 during the school’s World Percussion Series. The concert begins at 2 p.m. in Broyhill Music Center’s Rosen Concert Hall. Admission is free. Performing are the African Ensemble, Steely Pan Steel Band®, Tabla Ensemble and Mid-East Ensemble.
