Barack Obama, Reverend Wright, Trinity United Church of Christ and Hamas

Barack Obama, Reverend Wright, Trinity United Church of Christ and Hamas Would your “church,” if you fellowship with one, put on it’s bulletin board hateful articles from the anti-semitic, terrorist group Hamas? Barack Obama’s CURRENT church, Trinity United Church of Christ, did just that. Of course, Barack Obama didn’t even think his church was particularly controversial until the American public was made aware of the hateful things that his good friend, ex-pastor Jeremiah Wright, had saidduring Obama’s long, twenty-year association with it.

Rev. Wright, anti-Semitism, and “Rich, White Romans.”
http://conservativeintelligencer.com/?p=59Rev. Wright, anti-Semitism, and “Rich, White Romans.” Obama’s pastor, Jeremiah Wright, has gained some notoriety lately. But one aspect of his hate-filled remarks hasn’t gotten enough attention — his teaching that “rich, white Romans” killed a black Jesus. This is an adaptation of a hoary-headed, anti-Semitic argument. Anti-Semites persecuted Jews for centuries as “Christ-killers.” Wright demonizes whites in the same way. And as with Hitler and other demagogues, it is to the same end — as a means to sawy and control a mass of people by fostering hate toward another group. His blanket claims of white oppression toward blacks serves the same end, to focus the blame and rage for contemporary social problems on a targeted ethnic group. Demagogues often gain power by instilling fear and mistrust of a vague Other which is the source of all problems — Stalin and the kulaks; Hitler and the Jews; Pol Pot and counter-revolutionaries. Now Rev. Wright is certainly not Hitler, but he is a racist demagogue. His appropriation of the “Christ-killer” line is a classic example. UPDATE: WashTimes noted that “the Trinity United Church of Christ’s Web site says its teachings are based on the black liberation theology of James H. Cone and his 1969 book ‘Black Theology and Black Power.’” “Mr. Cone, a professor at the Union Theological Seminary in New York, added that “black theology will accept only the love of God which participates in the destruction of the white enemy.” Kinda puts Obama’s plans to unite America in perspective, non?
