Bubba Franks Puts on a Show

Dave Hutchinson writes some concerning comments about the Jets in the Star-Ledger about Franks and what he projects to be for the Jets. Franks, a former Packer, made several acrobatic catches and caught everything thrown his way (roughly 8 to 10 passes), including at least three touchdown passes in the red zone, which is his forte. The down side, however, is that Franks has the lean body of a wide receiver and his reputation as an all-catch, no-block tight end seems to be accurate. Hmm, somehow I had gotten it in my head that he was a good receiver who's skills had diminished, but was even better at blocking.
