Clinton surrogates go after Pelosi by Nick the News Guy Twenty Clinton fundraisers sent a letter to House speaker Nancy Pelosi, which carried the implicit threat that they may stop supporting the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. What’s got them riled is Pelosi’s common sense position that passing over the candidate who gets the most pledged delegates will grievously wound the Democratic party. At least six of the donors stayed in the Lincoln Bedroom while Bill Clinton was president, and eight have not donated to the DCCC since Nancy Pelosi became speaker.
