Filmmaker Tribute Videos
http://www.slashfilm.com/ 2008/ 03/ 27/ filmmaker-tribute-videos/
Cinematical pointed me towards these really cool videos on YouTube by a 25-Year-Old freelance editor nicknamed barringer82, who has edited together a few compilation music videoes of his favorite directors. The Paul Thomas Anderson one is definitely worth a watch, especially if you're a dan of his films. Check them out after the jump.

Happy 45th Birthday QUENTIN TARANTINO!
http://www.obsessedwithfilm.com/quentin-tarantino/happy-45th...Can you believe the young, hip and cool director that burst onto the scenes just over 15 years ago has turned 45 today? 45! Crazy. He’s a veteran now but I just wish he worked faster and got more of his damn movies out. Then again when you are writing and directing your own movies you can’t possibly have the work ethic of a Spielberg or a Nolan and as long as he keeps putting out movies of quality, then they are worth the wait and still carry that aura of an “event” opening. There’s a cool little tribute video getting a lot of recognition on Youtube right now from a 25-Year-Old freelance editor nicknamed barringer82 which I thought might be appropriate to upload as a kind of birthday celebration for the great director. It’s not the best edited clip I’ve ever seen but it most definitely serves it’s purpose. Happy Birthday Quentin, I hoped you have enjoyed your day and your night out, or whatever you are planning. Probably some crazy night of obscure Asian flicks or something. But please, get straight back to the office tomorrow and work on Inglorious Bastards! Thank you!
