...but it's a new-build, and hopefully quite comfortable. Joe at the Scottish Qualifications Authority suggested that we give a very much new-and-improved ScotEduBlogs aggregator a more sustainable home, after one of its co-founders, John Johnston made an appeal at TeachMeet07. ScotEduBlogs has, for over a year now, provided a stream of consciousness from Scotland's educational bloggers, thanks to some fast-fingered work from Jonesieboy, Peter and John. Joe points out that there's a lot more that could be done to promote ScotEduBlogs (and for that matter, the Education Podcast Directory, created between John and David Noble). Over the past few months a team at LTS has started to reconsider how the ICT in Education support site could be remodeled, and the whole concept of opening up the writing of this support site to Scottish teachers (and why not beyond?) is one that we are entertaining. As ever, there remains a desire to host content on the LTS site to secure its future - we don't want Error 404s on linchpins to our service. My only concern, personally, is why would someone want to contribute to ICT in Education when there's a myriad of material out there? We're back to why people want to be part of a community in the first place? Perhaps there's a mutually beneficial balance to be struck between another of Johnston's projects, OpenSource CPD, and the ICT in Education service?
