Guns & Politics in the USA - Page 2
One thing I'm really clear on, though, is this. We, the sane people (both gun-owning and non-gun-owning), of the United States, have let this happen. We've kicked the can down the road when it comes to living and working in a civil frickin' society. We've allowed this discussion to be taken over by extremely passionate voices on the fringe. Voices that even the gun owners think are going too far. We need equally passionate voices on the gun control side of things to step up and join the conversation, try to make the right outcome for everyone here.
A just outcome. Where the gun owners can have their passions and we don't get these cyclical headlines about 9-year-old bystanders dying along with federal judges and (almost) a congresswoman.
I'm open to suggestions.
