Did the German Chancellor Call for a One World Government?
As the stock market drops around the world due to the euro zone debt crisis, did German Chancellor Angela Merkel Call for a One World Government? At least in Europe, she in effect did.
Today, the Italian bond yields rose above 7% as the financial markets now see that Italy's debt is unsustainable. It's been widely reported nearly everywhere that the Greek bonds are nearly worthless as the banks agreed to take a 50% loss on all Greek government bonds. Ms. Merkel said that the problem is “unpleasant” and that structural reforms were needed. She said it “will mean more Europe, not less Europe,” at a conference in Berlin.
Ms. Merkel has asked for changes in treaties for the EU after French President Nicolas Sarkozy called for deep integration of some of the members of the EU and a pushing aside of other members of the EU.
Ms. Merkel clamored for “a breakthrough to a new Europe.” The new Europe would be deeply integrated and “can never again change its ground rules.”
The exact countries which will be a part of this Unholy Alliance remains to be seen, as nobody has yet said which countries are in the inside and which are on the outside in Europe. Clearly, the French and the Germans are in the driver's seat.
But from the mouth of Ms. Merkel, we know that any country that joins this Unholy Alliance can never leave, never change, and never have sovereignty rights again. This one world government in Europe will truly be an Unholy Alliance.
