Rafiq Elmansy is a creative designer, book author, trainer, public speaker and Adobe expert in the field of design with more than 15 years of experience in graphic design industry and a background in traditional arts. His experience in graphic design includes working on different design projects in web design, printing, logo design, elearning, cartoon animation and video production for clients around the world. Rafiq is also an author in the field of graphic design; he writes articles and books for various printed and online magazines and websites. Rafiq has the following books published: Photoshop 3D for Animators, published by FocalPress, November 18th, 2010. Also, he writes articles for many websites, such as Adobe.com, Adobe Edge magazine and his own online design magazine, Graphic Mania. He wrote Adobe certification exam preparation for uCertify in Flash and Photoshop. Rafiq is Friend of Icograda (International Council of Graphic Design Associations) and has been chosen as a mentor for the winner of ADAA (Adobe Design Achievements Award). He is also an official Adobe Community Professional and the founder of the first Adobe user group in the Middle East, the Adobe User Group in Egypt (AGUE). Also, he participates in the Adobe prerelease program and worked as Adobe Prerelease Community Manager for Middle East Adobe productions such as Photoshop ME, Illustrator ME and InDesign ME. In this role, he helped to develop better localized product experience for the Arabic users. He has good experience with typography in both Arabic and English with experience in Arabic calligraphy arts and studies.
