It's far easier writing when the topic isn't about me. That being said, I have a small computer business that focuses on helping the techno peasants ease into the digital world. It's surprising how many customers simply say "don't tell me the gory details, just make it work". I teach people how to use their computers (seniors are a specialty), troubleshoot software, de-grandchild computers, build small websites, new purchase ... in short what ever the customer needs, I either do it, or find someone who can. I write two blogs - one aimed at the non-technical computer user; the other is a vanity blog. Vanity blog? That's a pretty good description of most blogs now. We write because we think whatever we have to say is important enough to put down on (virtual) paper.
