Anna HodgesDateline: Anna Hodges
My passion for writing was re-sparked while taking my nursing pre-requisite English courses. I was initially terrified because it had been many years since high school. To my surprise, I aced the English classes and had a burning desire to continue in writing. I shifted my major from nursing to writing. In 2007, I decided to get my feet wet, and I created my own website (AnnasVersatileWriting.com) to offer writing services for resumes, ghost writing, articles for website content, and creative writing. I learned about social networking, and many of my articles were published on sites like eZineArticles, Article Dashboard, Affshpere, Qassia, FaithWriters, and Helium to drive traffic to my website. Unfortunately, all of my hard work did not bring the earnings that I had hoped it would. I had so much pride in my creation that I hung onto it for 4 years, of which the last 2 years were dedicated to writing to Faith and Inspiration. In March of 2011, I finally decided that it did not make sense to continue to pay for a website that was not earning money, so I let it go. I now have a free blog at http://godswordforwomen.wordpress.com/ for my faith writing. It is my desire to continue to grow and become the best writer that I possibly can. I know that my expertise will find a home in God's good timing.
