Day 3 and 4, back to Albuquerque, remember it’s an Art and/Food theme, our home for the next 2 days, Casa De Suenos, great bed and breakfast, close to Old Town, incredible local food, downtown, (Art galleries) and Marble Brewery

Day 5 and 6, a drive up North 14 also known as the Turquoise Trail. Spend some time in Madrid looking at, you got it art galleries, hopefully it’s Sunday, and we could go to the The Mine Shaft Tavern for red chili chicken enchiladas with an egg over easy on top and a side of sour cream, some live music, glass of New Mexico wine.  Next stop Cerrillos, and really we’re just taking in the landscape on our drive through the train stop of Waldo, but boy is it beautiful.

Now Santa Fe, The Inn at Loretto, and hopefully we’ve booked some tubs and massage at Ten Thousand Waves earlier in the week. Two places to see, Canyon Road and the Rail Yard. Canyon Road first because we’ll have a wonderful tapas lunch at El Farol and we’ll have to wade through the galleries to get there. Spanish white sardines and polenta are a “must have”, after gallery wading. Day 6, is your day as there is so much to see in the “City Different”, and we may need a break from each other for a few hours. Let’s get together for dinner later, ok. Just leave a message at the front desk as to where you want to meet or call me on my cell. Next year, let’s make the theme, Adventure/Outdoors, alight?
