Happiness : Past, Present and Future - Page 2

Happiness has a lot to do with nature. We have rapidly forced nature to react and cause hurdles in our happiness. We reduced death rates only to force nature to introduce newer and deadlier diseases. We made weapons for defense, but nature, our inner nature, forced us to rob and kill using them. We made vehicles to tear through the bosom of the earth, but nature divided us through boundaries. We tried to speed up everything, but that left us no time to rejoice, and therein lies the reason for our distress.
Happiness is not very difficult to experience. It is in the simplest of things: in the smile of a newborn, in the first ray of the morning sun, in the kiss of the beloved, in the embrace of a mother, in the smell of chocolate and in the richness of pasta is hidden a happiness so enchanting that it makes life worth living! Life in the past or the present is the life that has gone by. The future, however, can hold as much happiness as we are prepared to gather.
