Casey Anthony: I'm A Victim, Just Like Caylee - Page 2
As Casey grew increasingly angrier, she began to address her comments to her father, George, telling her mother to hand the phone to him. Casey told her now-crying mother that she wished to continue seeing the one person she’s been disconnected with for awhile — her father.
George continues to pursue his daughter seeking help outside of her attorney, Jose Baez, pleading with her to talk directly with law enforcement, to ask the Sheriff’s Office for private meetings between herself and George. Casey tells her father that she does trust the Sheriff’s Office to do anything for her.
It is at this point, while Cindy is sobbing on her husband’s shoulder, while her father is pleading with Casey to help herself, that Casey makes a comment that will likely not help her case with the jury...
“If media comes in here I’m not givin’ them sh*t. I’m a victim, just as much a victim as Caylee,” she states to her parents. During this time, while she makes this statement on video, Cindy Anthony can be seen staring at her daughter in the courtroom. Casey does not return the look.

The evidence collection team was then brought in one by one, highlighting the methods taken to seal up, bag up, and box up evidence taken from the Anthony home. Evidence that includes Caylee’s baby doll and Dora the Explorer backpack, as well as Casey’s laptop computer.
Orange County Sheriff’s Office Crime Scene Investigator Gerardo Bloise figures prominently during this time, as he recounts receiving the white Pontiac Sunfire and most of the other physical evidence from the Anthony home. Photos are shown of the car inside and out, as Bloise ticks off all of the allegations made about the car by Casey Anthony.
Casey had stated in previous testimony that the car was breaking down because the gas gauge did not work. Bloise showed photos of the gas gauge clearly working after he added gas to the then-empty tank. The undercarriage of the car was shown to be clean expect for a few leaves, countering Casey’s earlier statement that the foul smell coming from the trunk was due to a dead animal plastered underneath.
