Extreme Poodle Forces Haircut Humiliation
With the amount of channels we now have on our television, it's not a surprise that we are lacking quality content. Every now and then along comes a program that has promise and if you can see any of it in the show called Extreme Poodle then perhaps some of the community channels would be more to your liking.
This show sets out following the lives of people who place their much loved poodle pooch into hairdressing competitions. These competitions involve the owner's dog being groomed in ways that not even a Star Wars Jedi could find reasoning to. They belittle their pets by colouring, shaving and adding whatever accessories necessary to make them look as ridiculous as possible for the chance of taking home first place.
The dogs in this Extreme Poodle show are made to look like lions, buffalo, and hell, there is even a roller derby girl thrown in the mix. The show sounded like something that would offer a giggle on a relaxed afternoon. After watching the YouTube clip, it's plain to see that these pretty (I use the term loosely) pooches must suffer from some form of canine psychological disorder thanks to their owners dire need to turn them into indescribable works of art.
When animals are treated badly, we read in the news of how they too have feelings just like us humans. It's horrible to see animals suffering, and though it is not by a cruel hand that the dogs in this show suffer, they must not truly understand the meaning of humiliation. Not only do 'Mum' or 'Dad' degrade them by reshaping their natural curls, they also give permission for it all to be filmed and aired on national TV. If the haircut alone wasn't enough to demean them, the air time they get from this show will definitely have their mates making fun of them in the local park.Continued on the next page
