DWTS Season 13 Stars Revealed! - Page 2
Italian actress, model and television show host Elisabetta Canalis, known to many Americans as the former girlfriend of actor George Clooney, will be stepping out into the spotlight once again, standing (I mean dancing) on her own two feet. With newly booked roles on “Burn Notice” and “Leverage,” I’m sure we’ll be hearing a lot more about Canalis in the years to come...
Kristin Cavallari starred in 23 episodes of MTV’s “The Hills,” and was considered one of the show’s more popular (albeit controversial) characters. She recently went through a bitter breakup with Chicago Bears’ quarterback Jay Cutler, a fact which might put some measure of sentiment in her favor with audience members. Unless, of course, they’re Bears fans.
Nancy Grace, who covers sensational court-related cases for the Headline News Network, believes her time on DWTS will prove covering the news is easier than being a part of it, worrying she will be “falling on (her) booty” a lot. She’s never been shy to share her opinions - let’s see how she handles the scrutiny of judge Len Goodman’s biting remarks!
With a name like Kardashian, there’s certain to be some measure of interest. Following in his sister Kim’s nimble footsteps, Rob Kardashian’s addition just might make a frew of the female fans of DWTS sit up and take note. Although he has stated he agreed to join “to lose some pounds,” Kardashian is fairly easy on the eyes, ladies.
If you were a fan of Bravo’s “Queer Eye For The Straight Guy,” then Carson Kressley will be familiar to you. Kressley was all about the clothing on Queer Eye, and will certainly dress the part for Season 13 of DWTS. Sure, his shoes will look good, his suit expertly tailored, and his hair impeccable. But can he dance?
Iraqi War veteran, motivational speaker and now soap opera star J. R. Martinez is also joining the cast. Martinez received severe burns to more than 40% of his body from an Iraqi landmine, and has gone through over 30 cosmetic and skin grafting surgeries since. He overcame his disfiguring injuries, and spends a great deal of time on tour as a motivational speaker in support of veteran’s causes. ABC’s “All My Children” picked up Martinez in the role of a police officer, and Martinez’s motivational energy continues to spread. I’m saying to watch this guy positively shine in Season 13!Continued on the next page
