Bravo to Premiere New Reality Show, Kell on Earth, February 1st
It features powerful fashion business icon Kelly Cutrone, owner and founder of People's Revolution, a branding, marketing and PR firm. The show will premiere Feb. 1 at 10pm ET/PT.
People's Revolution currently represents 46 clients from Longchamps to Vivienne Westwood. Kelly is known to be an exceedingly direct, no nonsense go-to person; she's who you go to if you want a job done and want it done right. She is mildy infamous for dropping the F-bomb on a Good Day NY live interview and she is without question tops in her field. Intimidating to many, Kelly's new show focuses on the fashion business from her perspective, and will follow her as she navigates fashion week in New York and London. It will also show her more personal side, with glimpses of her life as a single parent to daughter Ava 8, and her struggle to balance both career and motherhood.
Kelly should be no stranger to reality TV fans. She has been an MTV mainstay for years now. Her firm has been a central part of story lines in True Life, The Hills, and The City. Lauren Conrad worked there on the The Hills and Whitney Port of The City is her employee. Kelly also mentors Whitney on her own clothing line.
Kelly has no intention of leaving MTV, and Kelly has sanctioned the bottom floors of her 4-story building for MTV filming, and the top floors for Bravo to film. MTV will just have to suck it up, learn to share and play nicely with others.
Kelly is a force to be reckoned with. Noted in her bio on Wikipedia, on 9/11/02, the one year anniversary of the September 11 terrorist attacks, she single handedly produced five fashion shows for NY fashion week. It seems she was the only one willing to work that day and her agency set a record for most shows produced in a day.
If this show is truly "no holds barred" Kelly as the Bravo release asserts, we may just be in for some very good reality TV.
