Raquel Redd Inks Deal with Hollywood Giants Records
Hollywood Giants Records announced today that they have officially signed a deal with Los Angeles based singer/songwriter recording artist Raquel Redd. The agreement provides Redd, who studied voice at Berklee College of Music, with an exclusive 3-year recording contract.
Redd’s genre of music is defined as R&B, pop-rock and dance. The first single “Right On Track” is slated for release to radio and clubs this November. A debut EP is slated for a Spring 2012 release featuring an electro-pop anthem single titled “Throw Your Pants in the Air,” produced by Michael McGreggor. The singles will be supported by dance remixes from Josh Harris, DJ Von Shock, R3hab, Rafael M, Chris “The Greek” Panaghi, Michael Trance and many others. Music videos are also in the works for each currently slated release.
“Of course, this is a dream come true! It is also a humble moment as well,” states Raquel Redd. “I’m looking forward to hanging out with all the DJs and kissing lots of industry ass. [laughs] It’s going to be one hell of a ride!”
With a burgeoning fan base, Redd consistently wins over audiences throughout the Southern California region. Hollywood Giants’ executives believe that Raquel has got the chops, persona and power to become a favorite mainstream pop vocalist.
Raquel Redd will be performing at the NEXT Music Group and Media Giants IMS party on September 22 at Level 2 Nightclub in Cathedral City, Calif. Also performing that night will be D’Manti, Cynthia Manley and Caroline Lund. For more information on this premiere music industry event visit GoIMS.org.
