Live Concert Review: Slayer and Anthrax Rock the Jagermeister Fall Music Tour
I recently had an opportunity to attend the Jagermeister Fall Music Tour featuring headlining band Slayer, along with Megadeth and Anthrax.
This has been an amazing touring year for all three bands, as well as for their fans. They began the year with the "Big Four" tour, headlined by Metallica, then moved on to Europe and Canada for the "Carnage" tours before coming home to take part in the "Jagermeister Fall Music Tour".
In 1991 this line-up graced stages around the world on the "Clash of the Titans" tour. 2010 marked the first time since then that all three bands have shared a stage. There's no telling when they may, if ever, share a stage together again.
With that in mind, and as Technorati.com's resident "music junkie", I made it my business to catch up with Slayer and Anthrax from time to time throughout the tour.
I first did an audio interview with drummer Dave Lombardo as Slayer spread "Carnage" across Canada. Then I interviewed lead singer Joey Belladonna as Anthrax took a break to gear up for the Jagermeister Tour.
On October 1st, at Gwinnett Center Arena, I finally caught up with both bands in Atlanta. Along with the following slideshows from their concert performances, I also had the opportunity to sit down backstage for a live video interview with three of the men who helped create thrash metal: Kerry King from Slayer, Anthrax lead singer Joey Belladonna and drummer Charlie Benante.

He has left his mark on guitarists around the world, influencing musicians across all genres.Continued on the next page
