Rise Against has been selected as one of the first "Spotlight Artists" on Google's new Music Beta blog, Magnifier.
The recent Federal Court decision that MP3tunes is not in violation of copyright laws with their cloud music storage service has signaled a green light for other cloud music services such as Dropbox, Amazon's Cloud Drive and Google's Music Beta. It is sure to have opened the door for competitive up-starts as well. You can expect to see a flood of competition in the music cloud storage industry in the foreseeable future.
Google has jumped to the front of the pack with one their latest projects, Music Beta. In order to use the service you'll need a Music Beta by Google account (Click here --> Music Beta Invite, sign in with your Google account and click Request Invitation).
