Youtube Bans Lady Gaga's Account
One of the most viewed musicians on YouTube now has her account banned on multiple violations.
The guys at RemondPie have described exactly why Lady Gaga's (real name: Stefani Germanotta) was banned:
"It’s believed that angry bosses at Media Interactive Inc. insisted YouTube take down the page, featuring music videos from hits such as “Judas” and “Poker Face”, after footage she uploaded of an appearance on Fuji TV’s show SMAP X SMAP. The 10-minute performance featured her alongside popular a Japanese boyband SMAP performing a medley of songs from her latest album, “Born This Way”. It is believed she failed to secure the digital rights to showcase the performance on her YouTube account and thus action has been taken."
In this world, which is completely digitalized, it is very important to get the legal things done correctly. Lady Gaga made some mistakes in the legal department, which has cost her, her YouTube account.
Keeping in the mind that Lady Gaga is a very big celebrity in terms of media popularity and earning this might be a big blow to her reputation.
Though I believe that Youtube would soon remove the suspension nothing is certain as of now as both Youtube and Lady Gaga were unavailable for any comments.
Maybe Lady Gaga may have to pay some fine to the people at SMAP X SMAP but with the amount of money Lady Gaga makes it wont be difficult for her.
We hope that Lady Gaga gets her YouTube account back and I'm sure all you Lady Gaga fans out there hope the same.
