B12...what is B12? Why are there so many celebrities taking it? Is B12 the new Scientokabbalah? I keep hearing about it.
Through my extensive research on B12 -- Googling "B12," finding the Wikipedia entry, and reading it — I have found B12 is a vitamin that plays a key role in the metabolism of every cell in the body, greatly affecting the synthesis and regulation of DNA. In more simple terms, B12 produces energy and helps cells reproduce.
Since I don't always trust Wikipedia entries, even ones I have written, I turned to a second source to do some fact checking, the delicious and very well respected, Mayo Clinic. According to the Mayo Clinic,"Vitamin B12 is an essential water-soluble vitamin..."
Conclusion: B12 is a real thing, a vitamin, and not a mystical religion.
