There's Something About Cameron Diaz and Her Fabulous Figure
Her smile can light up a room and her bright and beautiful blue eyes have the power to attract and pacify even the hardest of hearts. Much like her persona in the movie, There’s Something About Mary, Cameron Diaz is the quintessential girl next door. Long legged and energetic, she appears to be a fun-loving lady that most people would love to hang out with.
In her newest movie out this summer, Knight and Day, she stars opposite Tom Cruise in a comedy adventure that has gotten some good reviews. Showing off a fit figure that looks like she spends hours at the gym, one has to wonder what exactly she does to stay in shape. In an interview with StarPulse.com, Diaz was quoted as saying, “Exercise for me is like eating and breathing. I’m consistent and when I’m not consistent, it shows up on my body. I get really skinny. But the body that people talk about is not about me trying to stay slim, it’s the one that I work hard to keep weight on. ”
Many people would read this and think, “Well good for her.” But ask any woman who has trouble keeping weight on her body, and she’ll tell you it is no picnic. For the underweight woman, gaining weight and maintaining it is as difficult and disheartening as it is for those women who have trouble losing weight and keeping it off. Eating a balanced diet and working out are the best ways to promote women’s fitness and encourage a healthy weight.
There really is such a thing as being too thin. It’s hard to believe since most of us struggle with being too fat. But anyone over the age of 18 with a BMI of 18.5 or less is considered underweight.
