Lady Gaga Claims to be Channeling the Late Alexander McQueen
Lady Gaga did not become a global sensation simply through her chart-topping hits like 'Just Dance' and 'Poker Face', or by her unusual sense of fashion. Her odd beliefs play a pretty significant role in the singer's success as well.
The pop star's most recent claim is that late fashion designer Alexander McQueen is channeling through her, and that he is the real writer of her latest song, 'Born This Way', not her.
In a Harper's Bazaar interview, Gaga is quoted saying McQueen, who committed suicide February 11, 2010, "planned the whole thing: Right after he died, I wrote 'Born This Way.' I think he's up in heaven with fashion strings in his hands, marionetting away, planning this whole thing.'"
Lady Gaga, who performed a tribute to McQueen at the 2010 Brit Awards, will be launching the Good Morning America Summer Concert Series in New York City on Friday, May 27th.
