Gary Coleman's Ex Sells Deathbed Pics To Tabloids
Gary Coleman, best know for his role as Arnold Drummond on Diff'rent Strokes, passed away May 28th and he still can't rest in peace.
Coleman, who died after hitting his head in a fall at his Utah home, was taken off life support shortly after slipping into a coma. Shannon Price, his ex-wife and live in partner had authority to take Gary off of life support and she wasted no time in doing so. But before she did, she arranged for some deathbed pictures to be taken and sold upon his death, which she has now cashed in on for a five-figure deal. CLASSY!
Now, there has been some speculation into whether Shannon might have played some role in Gary's death, and so far, authorities are not investigating. But for me, what's even more disturbing is the information which has come to light since his passing.
First, we have the bizarre 911 call Shannon made, in which she was asked to give Gary first-aid, but was unable to do so because she was too grossed out by all the blood. The tape really was all the evidence I needed to decide Shannon was a straight up biznatch, but the latest information is beyond the pale.
Shannon called in a production team to take the photos just prior to her pulling the cord on Gary and then just after. A tabloid, according to TMZ bought all but the post-mortem photos. You know, because even sleazy tabloids have scruples. The same can not be said for Shannon Price.
I can only hope Gary found some peace in the after-life, because he was certainly plagued with users and leeches his whole life, including his parents and his ex-wife, who is a real piece of work.
R.I.P Gary, karma awaits these wretched people.
