I created What-is-privacy.com in 2011 after I got angrily reprimanded for posting a photo that revealed my 6 month old nephew’s adorable naked butt on Facebook. This was one of many technology related mistakes that I’d made and I decided to share my stories and the stories of others to spread awareness about the dangers of Technology. Articles relate to Cyber-Safety and Cyber-Privacy issues due to the exponentially increasing use of Technology, Social Media and the Internet and tips and guidelines are provided to help deal with these issues. Topics include Identity Theft, information about current cyber attacks, Social Media Privacy Settings, Sexting, Online Dating Guidelines, Parental Cyber-Advice, Steps to take to prevent a website or blog from being hacked, to name a few. In fact, I have a long list of issues waiting to be covered and there’s no sign of running out of subject matter to discuss in the future.
