Stitch & Yarn
Stitch & Yarn is my place to celebrate textiles, colour and things handmade with love. I’m based in Sydney and have a day job, but I’ve been making things in my spare time for as long as I can remember. Posts on the blog cover pieces I am in the process of making, new crafts I am learning about, sharing the work of other crafters as well as exploring interesting handcrafts, makers, shops or techniques I discover on my travels. You can also follow Stitch & Yarn on Flickr, Instagram and Pinterest. The blog was originally started in March 2011 as a way to keep family members connected as they prepared a quilt for their sister/daughter's wedding. The women sewing the quilt live up to 600km apart in four different towns and cities in NSW, Australia.
