Born and raised in New England, I design and create in a slant-roofed one-window bedroom. My mother taught me the beautiful art of crochet when I was a little girl, and I've been designing my own patterns and gifts ever since. I draw my inspiration from colors, flowers, literature, and travel. I’m extremely interested in lace – it reflects complexities and intricacies that ultimately come together in a pattern of great beauty. I try to incorporate that in each of my designs, although sometimes I'll make something basic and useful, like a dish scrubber, just to change things up a bit! I hope to bring more beauty into the world through what I make, and to help other people discover their own beauty and create for themselves and others. My blog is a record of my creative journey, a collection of photos, patterns, tutorials, and sometimes recipes!
